It is not guaranteed that the visa you apply for will be approved. If any travel or visa company does tell you this can be done for Zambian visas, please be aware that you may be getting into a scam.

If you are arriving for business purposes, you will need to obtain a visa at the port of arrival itself. We generally term this a ‘visa on arrival’.

No, it is not. You will need to apply for a new visa, while contacting the embassy to make your old (tourist) visa defunct. You cannot participate in business activities on a Zambian tourist visa, and this will be considered illegal and a punishable offence.

You can obtain a transit visa online, the process is similar to that of the Zambia tourist e-visa.

Zambia offers a “day-tripper” visa that performs these functions. You will need to obtain this visa, as the transit visa allows you to travel inside the allowed premises of the airport only.
