What are the documents required for a Taiwan visa for Indians? 

Here is the list of documents that you will require for a Taiwan visa application-

  • Original and copy of Indian passport with a validity of at least 6 months 
  • Two recent colored passport-size photographs.
  • Completely filled and signed the Taiwan visa application form.
  • Financial statements to prove sufficient funds for the trip along with ITR for one year.
  • Proof of travel, accommodation, and statement of purpose including flight tickets, hotel bookings, and detailed itinerary of the trip.
  • Letter of invitation from Taiwanese company/employer, in case of employment.
  • Letter of admission from a Taiwanese institution, in case of student visa.
  • NOC letter from employer, and parents in case the applicant is below 18 years of age.
  • Other related documents include invitations for family events, exhibitions, etc.

  • Fill out the visa application form at the Taipei Economic and Cultural Centre in India website. Get the form printed and sign it.
  • Ensure that all the details are thoroughly filled in true to knowledge.
  • Schedule an appointment at the TECC website and submit the application form along with the documents in person.
  • The Taiwan visa fee is payable in cash only. Make the payment when you visit the visa center for submission of application and biometrics, if applicable.
  • Sit tight while your visa is being processed by the authorities.
  • Once approved, visit the center to collect your Taiwan visa and enjoy your journey!

Note: The submission timings are 9 AM-11 AM (Mon-Fri) and visa collection timings are 3:30 PM-4:30 PM (Mon-Fri).

Taiwan Single Entry Visa Fees

The single entry visas allow entry into Taiwan only once with no possibility of re-entry. This is applicable for purposes such as tourism, short family visits, education, residence for up to 3 months, or medical reasons.

With multiple entry visas, Indians can visit Taiwan multiple times with a maximum stay of 60 days per visit. One can apply for a multiple entry visa for purposes such as employment or business.
