TOURIST VISA REQUIREMENT FOR Switzerland
Form
When you apply for a Swiss visa online, the applicant needs to fill up an online form that will require details such as Personal, Travel, Passport, Dependant, Parents, Employment, Income and expenditure, Accommodation, Travel history (Schengen and other areas) and other histories.

If self-employed and/or company owner:
Enterprise registration certificate / Partnership Deed / Proof of proprietorship, or other proof of ownership.
Last 3 months personal & business checking account statements.
Company’s & personal ITR (only ITR-V, Indian tax Return Verification Form or Acknowledgement is accepted) for the last 2 assessment years.
If retired :
Personal pension statement for the last 3 months.
Persons who apply for a Swiss e-visa online must remain in Switzerland at their own expense must be ready to demonstrate their financial resources amounting to a minimum of CHF 100 per day / Rs. 7500 per day of their stay.
Eg - 2 people traveling together for 10 days are advised to demonstrate a minimum of 2 x 10 x 7500 = Rs. 1,50,000/- in available funds.
If Student or unemployed :
A student who applies for a Swiss e-visa online, Their parents or statutory supervisors must present their personal bank statements for the latest 3 months.
Individual ITR (only ITR-V, Indian tax Return Confirmation Form or Acknowledgement is admitted) for the latest 2 assessment years along with a confirmation letter of financial support and a duplicate of their passports.

Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is mandatory. The minimal coverage of 30,000 Euro / 50,000 USD / 50,000 CHF per individual. Coverage of all expenses which could arise in reference to repatriation for medical reasons, urgent medical attention and/or emergency hospital treatment. The insurance must cover the whole stay within the Schengen territory. Applicants who wish to use for 6 months or one-year multiple entry visas aren't obliged to supply a 180 (365) days coverage. it's sufficient to submit a policy covering the primary journey.
Applicants applying for a period of 6 months or one-year multiple-entry visas are not entitled to provide 180/365 day coverage. Submitting an insurance policy that covers the first journey is sufficient.

Employment / Student Proof
For Employed Persons:
For Employed Persons - An introduction letter from the employer is required on the company/business letterhead. the first letter must be signed & stamped by HR or directorate mentioning your position, duration of your service, the date and purpose of the trip.
For Self-Employed Persons:
Business registration documents confirming the business owner’s name and therefore the date the business started trading and three years of tax returns of the business.
For Students :
A letter from your institution head, on headed paper, with your enrolment confirmation and leave of absence.
For Families:
When you apply for a Swiss visa online, The visa form needs to be submitted together, only the top member of the family must attach bank statements, personal ITR (only ITR-V, Indian tax Return Verification Form or Acknowledgement is accepted), travel insurance (mentioning all the names of the insured), flight booking (mentioning all the names of the traveling family members), all the hotel confirmations (if all the rooms are under an equivalent booking and under the name of the top of the family).
For Minors:
Students above 16 years:
Copy of the scholar college ID card and introduction letter of the School/College/University.
For children under 18 years of age who are traveling alone:
written consent letter of both parents or trustees, certified by a public notary.
• Children under 18 years old, not traveling with both parents :
written consent letter of the opposite, non-traveling parent or trustee, certified by a public notary.

Other Document Requirements when you apply for a Swiss Visa Online:
1. If the applicant continues to visit a 3rd country (i.e. UK, USA, Canada etc…) after leaving the Schengen Area, the visa of the subsequent country has got to be obtained first.
2. Clear photocopies of valid UK, USA, or CAN visas (if any).
3. If you've got been refused a visa by an Embassy or High Commission within the last 2 years, please provide the Refusal Notice or a written explanation about the explanations for refusal.
