Passport
- Should be valid for 6 months beyond the last intended date of departure from New Zealand
- Should contain at least 2 blank visa pages
- Should have no alteration or handwritten amendments in the data pages
Photograph
- Colored passport size photograph (35 mm wide by 45 mm high without border) taken within the last 3 months
- Applicant's full face must be clearly visible without any headgear. The photograph must be taken against a plain white background
Proof of sufficient funds for undertaking travel
- Applicant needs to provide last 6 months bank statement signed and attested by a bank official
- In case applicant is self employed then company's 6 month bank statement is also required
- All bank statements must be dated within the last 1 week
Invitation
- Applicants must provide invitation letter along with a copy of their ID proof if they intend to stay with relatives or friends
- In case visiting for medical emergency of Daughter / Daughter in law’s Pregnancy then letter from Hospital / Doctor stating the condition of patient is required
Covering letter
- Applicants must provide a cover letter on the A4 Paper / Business Letter Head
Income Tax Returns
- Income tax return assessment for the last 3 year in case the applicant is employed
- In case the applicant is not able to provide ITR, either salary slip or NOC from employer is to be provided
- In case the applicant is self-employed then Company’s last 3 Years ITR is also required
NOC
- NOC from employer (if employed) along with ID card copy / Business card
- Or salary slips for 3 last months along with copy of employment ID card
- Children under 18 years of age must provide a Notarized NOC from any non-accompanying parent along with Parents’ passport copies.
- In case a student is traveling with family, Evidence of enrolment from College / Institute / School along with NOC is required
GST copy
- If Self Employed, applicant needs to provide a GST copy
Other Documents
- If children below 18 years of age are staying in New Zealand with someone other than parents, legal guardians or relatives, a declaration has to be signed by the person who will be taking responsibility in New Zealand. The caretaker's valid ID proof / Passport copy is also required.
