TOURIST VISA REQUIREMENT FOR Thailand

Application Form

The Thailand visa application form must be duly filled and signed by the traveller.

Travel Tickets

A confirmed return travel ticket must be booked, printed, and submitted to the Embassy, along with all the other required documents.

Additional Documents

If you are traveling for medical purposes, a medical report from the local hospital must be typed out, stating that you require treatment in Thailand. An acceptance letter from the Thailand hospital must also be submitted. Those applying for multiple-entry visas must also show proof of residence (in India).

The Thailand visa application form must be duly filled and signed by the traveller.

Passport

When you apply for a Thailand E-visa online, you must hold a passport valid for at least with an expiration date at least 6 months beyond your intended duration of stay in Thailand.

Photograph

2 recent color photographs must be submitted with the dimensions of 35X45mm. These must have been taken in the last 3 months.

Travel Tickets

A confirmed return travel ticket must be booked, printed, and submitted to the Embassy, along with all the other required documents.

Bank Statements

Bank statements of the last six months (original, or attested by the bank) must be shown. Your bank account must have a minimum disposable amount of 700 USD (per person, or 1400 USD per family) at the time of your Thailand visa application.

Hotel Accommodation

Proof of hotel accommodation, along with the contact number and address of the establishment, must be submitted. In case of any visa problems while in Thailand, the officers will be able to contact you through this channel.

Thailand Health Declaration(T8 Form)

Due to the corona virus global pandemic, any person entering Thailand needs to fill up the Thailand Health Declaration (T8 Form) and submit this form. The T8 form is valid only for a single entry and has a validity of 14 days only. For every subsequent entry you must submit a new form.

    The photographs must be 3.5*4.5 cm. They must be taken on a white background, with no caps or sunglasses - a neutral expression, with the full front view of the face clearly seen. It must be a matte finish and signed by the traveler on the back.

    In the case of sponsorship, a cover letter (typed and signed by a family member/sponsor) must be submitted along with your Thailand visa application. The name of said sponsor must match the name on the given bank account, along with a signed photocopy of the passport of the sponsor. Their bank account statements must be displayed instead of yours, and the minimum balance is to be maintained.

    Currently, Thailand does not allow Indian nationals to opt for a visa on arrival facility. You must go through the manual route - applying for a visa through your nearest embassy.

It has a stay period of 90 days and one usually studies an average of 15 hours per week on this visa.
